Workshop No.1- Creative Folding

During the workshop we started off with simple and easy 3D shapes.
Here is two cone designs held together with tape.

As we moved through the workshop we began to work on more complicated shapes.
This shows how the paper has been manipulated into curves; almost representing a snakes shape.

This paper has also been manipulated to curve itself three times in the same direction.

This shape is boat-like, the curves on the edges allow it to appear raised.

This shape represents a bat-like shape. When on a surface it creates an unusual shadow.

Some easy curving techniques.

The next stage of the workshop we began to look at logo's and how they symbolise the party they are representing. With the Blockbuster logo I tried to represent the item they are selling
within the 3D form logo.

Similar case with this logo, DisneyLand signifies fantasy and happiness.
I tried to create this within the 3D form logo.
